Printmaking

Thrilled to have begun my printmaking career through my minor at SCAD, where I work in various mediums like linoleum, woodcut, monotype, metal etching, screenprinting, and lithography. For example, linoleum and woodcut are used for relief-style carvings, essentially utilizing the uncarved surface as a large stamp. The linoleum or wood is then inked with a brayer and then run through a press, which is stamped onto paper to make the print itself. I am working toward diving deeper into each form of printmaking and their fascinating processes that I continue to fall more deeply in love with everyday!
