Suddenly I Saw You

Recently, I have found a lot of creative inspiration from music. Usually, when I sit down to do my work, I can only listen to purely instrumental music; otherwise, the lyrics will pull me out of my zone, if you will. However, this was not the case when listening to Sleeping At Last. I could easily get lost in the captivating essence of the overlapping harmonies and the vulnerability of the lyrics. When I closed my eyes and opened my ears, my mind flooded with visuals, and I entered a dreamlike state. So, I began to draw. It felt like I was dancing through the stars, intertwined in the constellations. Then, I began to wonder if it takes those moments like that, moments of losing track of time and losing your sense of self-awareness, to truly find yourself. Suddenly, I found what my soul had been searching for.
